Mark Rogers

Mark has over 30 years experience as a vehicle mechanic and has the ability to work both independently and as part of a team with supervisory and managerial experience.

On leaving school in the mid 1970′s, Mick completed a two year apprenticeship at Ford Motor Company, learning foundation skills of all aspects of vehicle engineering. These included fault finding, servicing, repairs and welding.

Mark spent the next ten years working in a family business, gaining experience and developing his skills by dismantling scrap vehicles, repairing and recovering customer vehicles and preparing vehicles to motorsport including track, rally and stock car.

Between 1987 and 2007 Mark ran his own service and repair company out of a Maldon, Essex based workshop. Services included vehicle repair and maintenance, servicing and preparation of vehicles for MOT’s, welding and all general aspects of running his own business.

Subsequent experience included road side repair and recovery services coupled with having sole mechanical responsibility for a large fleet of public sewer service Mark learned how to repair, rather than simply replace, vehicle parts.

Mark spent a year as a mechanic and foreman to six staff at a large work shop prior to joining the Cold Norton MOT Centre in late 2009. With over 30 years experience Mark’s hard working attitude, reliability and motivation make him a huge asset to the company.

Personally Mark is a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoys riding and maintaining his own bike. He regularly attends motorcycle meetings and is involved in motorsport activities including banger racing, rally cross and track racing.
